We are currently looking for a Manager to oversee the process of developing and executing the Marketing plans for the Home Internet Segment in the Consumer Business Department. 

Job Summary


you will be managing, guiding and overseeing the process of developing and executing marketing plans for the home internet segment which aim at customer retention, acquisition, and value extraction, as well as directing and leading the development of new products and services, starting from market research and new product/ service initiation stage to launching stage, which includes designing concept and marketing tools, and communicating them with concerned parties, in addition to managing any other work activities within the Home internet marketing function.


Strategic Duties: 


▪ Developing the Function’s work plan and assigning related activities to serve the achievement of the Function/ Department's goals.

▪ Supervising the implementation of the Function’s plans, monitoring workflow, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. 

▪ Ensuring that instructions, circulars and organizational and operational decisions are followed and applied.

▪ Ensuring that work activities are carried out according to the pre-set performance goals and suggesting any necessary actions to the direct supervisor. 

▪ Participating in setting the Function’s budget, in addition to monitoring and controlling the expenditure in coordination with the Finance Function.


Administrative Duties: 

▪ Conducting periodic meetings with direct reports to ensure that priorities are clear and workflow is running smoothly. 

▪ Preparing periodic reports with respect to the function’s activities and achievements. 

▪ Ensuring manpower requirements are met according to specified manpower plans. 

▪ Appraising direct reports’ performance according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions as per the applied practices.

▪ Satisfying the direct reports’ training needs and evaluating the outcomes of training courses and making changes as and when needed.​

▪ Approving direct reports’ administrative affairs such as: vacations, leaves…etc. 

▪ Nominating a deputy to carry out the responsibilities of the position whenever the need arises.


Technical Duties: 


▪ Directing and supporting the home internet function team in researching and analyzing the market, as well as the products and services of competitors’ and international counterparts in the telecommunication sector and ensuring the accuracy and precision of these research and benchmarking activities. 

▪ Managing and maintaining home internet products, services, offers, and promotions from the concept stage to launch stage and throughout its life cycle. 

▪ Leading the process of initiating and developing of new products, services, and offers related to FTTH & mobile broadband segment, presenting new ideas that will decrease churn, maintain customer retention, increase customer acquisition, and increase revenues, in addition to encouraging the team to suggest and present ideas and provide them with feedback and direction. 

▪ Managing the process of developing concepts for new products, services and offers’ initiatives describing its technical requirements and characteristics and subsequently communicating them to concerned parties.

▪ Supervising the process of preparing financial business models for new products which include the analysis of financial aspects such as breakeven points, expected revenue, marketing costs and others, in collaboration with the Pricing & Business Intelligence function. 

▪ Monitoring and studying business performance of the segment, including satisfaction levels, service adoption, churn, Average revenue per user, revenues & margins, and analyzing and identifying trends and threats. 

▪ Overseeing the development of periodic reports which include KPI results, sales and revenue figures, gap analysis between targets and results, and others. 

▪ Leading translating the advertisement requirements to MARCOM team clarifying targeted customers for the new product/ service, selection of advertisement and media channels, material…etc. 

▪ Providing sales and customer care teams with support, training, and direction in matters regarding the home internet segment’s products and services. 

▪ Negotiating with external vendors and partners such as device vendors, in order to bundle Zain’s services with latest devices in the market. 

▪ Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.

What Do You Need to Qualify

The suitable candidate should fit the below requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Communication Engineering or related field.

- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

- Preferred: PMP certification.
